No Elite??? Missed out on the winner! š
The Hoyt puts the stabilizer as an add and should be taken off because most people don't use them anyway. So a true false reading just because the stabilizer by Hoyt is shipped and included in the price. You're faulting the company for giving you a stabilizer. If it were part of the bow, it wouldn't screw on and off. Poor calculations right there guys. Other than that, well done. Bowtech surprised me.
Iām not sure if anybody has told yāall. But you could convert those lights to the LED style pretty cheap and it would eliminate your light noise.
Cannot crown a. King without ALL of the carbon bows. Not even going to finish watching this.
Very informative the PSE kind of walked away with the speed and weight. I wished I stopped by when I was TDY at Lejuene but I knew I wasn't walking out the shop without spending $2K + a angry wife Lol!
I see Hoyt is still using super-thick strings/serving. I hate that. If I ever got a Hoyt, the first thing I would do is build a new stringset for it using 452X and Halo serving all around. My nocks just click on with just enough pressure to not fall off, but comes off very easily if you pull off the arrow, or at the shot.
No carbon Era
What is your findings on the omen? I know this was on carbons. I'm just curious if you did something similar on the omen?
My feelings have changed a lot as Iāve gotten older. I still own a speed bow but donāt really look at the speed. The draw difference from my old Hoyt CRX 32 to my latest Bowtech sr6 is night and day. Bowtech may be 10 fps faster but the CRX32 you couldnāt relax. I guess thatās hood if you are 3D or competition. CRX also felt so hard to get back and into valley. New bows are amazing. I keep my bows now for years and get to know them.
I remember the days of my 82nd air borne speed cam. Really special speed hump draw. My buddy still has it. Still a fantastic shooting bow though. Just comparing draw since then. Big difference.
Happy with my Ventum 33 pro thanks š prefer my carbon in my arrows! Still nice to see the new lineup all together. Think Iād choose the p.s.e levitate believe John Dudley had a hand in that & thatās good enough for me.
ERA …
As far as speed, I'm chasing 300 fps, but I do western elk hunting so I want something that packs a little bit bigger punch and that can shoot flatter. I totally would be picking a PSE with the e2 cams but I love the video.
That's a pretty good video. I found it interesting to see the speeds. I wasn't expecting the RX7 Ultra to be that much slower compared to the Mach 34. With those numbers you guys put up, the Mach 34 would be significantly faster even if you put the 5ps slower EC2 cam on it. I don't have a PSE dealer near me, but at 31" draw length I am intrigued by the Mach34 with the EC2 cam. I shot it at TAC, but it was someone's actual hunting bow set at 70 lbs, 30" draw and 80{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453} letoff. The draw was nice, it was easy to draw back and then let down. The booth only had 60 lb bows with the EC2 cam. I'd like to shoot it at 70 lbs, 31" and 85{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453} letoff. At 80{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453}, the valley felt a little short for my tastes. I bet at 85{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453} or 90{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453}, the valley gets a bit longer, making it more comfortable for long holds while hunting or even long practice sessions. It felt incredibly light in hand compared to my long ATA aluminum bows.
A little off subject, but what backstop are you shooting those arrows into?
Pse! Light fast 2 different ata so many cams to choose from. Not even close IMO.
The best Carbon bow is the PSE Mach 34.. lets not even pretend. This year its fairly cut and dry
Great video, Iād say if your going for the 100{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453} Carbon experience the PSE wins, light like carbon is suppose to be, fast with barely and and shock with a stab itās gone and a good ATA and a bow thatās 100{b28075b4f1cc879d437a9ae15a959dc02f98e9215f5678f1d9b5668411a3b453} made in the USA unlike them Chinese carbon made risers from Hoytšš, just joking around!!! All great choices
Thatās a dope video itās cool how yāall put two arrow weights which I like both weights! Definitely saved me from some overnight thinking about what bow Iād get as a back up.
