I wish you hadn’t cut the sound of the shots. I know it’s different than in person but the viewer can get a good comparison between the bows.
Since your a Hoyt guy, you should go into the video and not shoot a Hoyt. Just my two cents.
So I’m looking for a bow I’ve had my bear assault for about 15 years now I’m looking at a Hoyt RX7 ultra. For a carbon bow what is the life expectancy out of it? I shoot pretty often between 100 and 150 arrows per night during. The summer and. I hunt quite a bit all the way till February. And I just love to shoot in general. How many years do you think I would get out of it? Because generally speaking, I probably take about two or 4 months break. Or I don’t shoot more than 500 shots in that. Period of time. Just a YouTube channel asking for your expertise

Never from the beginning of the video would have ever imagined you were going Hoyt 😂. FYI hard to disagree just switched from Matthew myself
I don't have a ton of options with my draw length. I ended up with the Hoyt RX-7 Ultra. The others just didn't feel right. Speeds are above advertised. The extra draw length makes the difference.
advertising hoyt bows lol
I’m dumping my RX7 for the Elite – with today’s technology’s nobody can touch it this year. You can’t stay brand specific anymore,
35 yrs ago I shot a used Darton. I honestly thought they went out of business.
Have shot the Ventum 33 and love the hbx pro cams feels great 👍
Never shot a Matthews and I’m sure they shoot great, just prefer curves to straight lines!
Last year I broke down and bought a new bow and the bow I walked away with was the Mathews V3X. I looked at the Hoyt but didn’t shoot it. I didn’t like the Pic rail on the front of the riser. I liked the bridge lock system so I bought the Mathews. The downfall I’ve noticed is the weight. After the setup my bow is heavy and when you pack in a good ways you start noticing it. The price also had a role in my decision. I just couldn’t see myself spending the extra 700 bucks just to knock off a couple pounds. This year the phase 4 is nice but to make it worth your while you need to get the new stabilizer system and right now I can’t afford spending an extra 5-6 hundred bucks for a dang stabilizer. The way I see it though it’s here to stay so sometime in the future if I stay with Mathews then I’ll break down and buy one. I figure in the next couple years Mathews will release a carbon bow. I will most likely wait until it’s released before buying another new bow.
Nice comparison! I have shot a few of these and the Elites are incredible. The Omnia is screaming it feels better than the VTM to me. It's also $300 cheaper. That would be my personal choice but id take any of them and be happy!
Hoyt fanboy. Next
Great video mate, but what is the best hunting bow ?? The best hunting bow is the one that suits you, these bows are all great with different technology for tuning ‘ some bows could do with longer DL would be nice for some of us tall guys and be nice to see some bows with longer ATA like out to 42 ATA and DL out to 34 inch,
Shot a lot of different brand name bows and have been shooting Bowtech since 2013ish. That Omnia is smoother, quieter, quick and more dead in hand than anything you had up there, prolly why some are calling fan boy on you! Apples to apples and the Hoyt is just another over priced bow!
Great comparison video, I started laughing when the video started cause AJ is the guy I take my bows to for everything!! He is a top notch bow tech.
Hoyt fan boy. Lol Love ya podcast though. Glad you interviewed Daniel, I'm from south Mississippi. He's a killer. I've heard that rx-7 is a great bow. I shoot Xpedition but I'm not brand loyal. I wish I had all bows
Wow, kinda weird Bowtech didn’t make a new bow for this year.
Definitely can’t go wrong with the RX7 or the ultra. Things is so smooth and nice 🤘🏾🏹
