Do they make a crank cocking device for that crossbow?
I have a Jackal but it has brushes can I put on the spring loader instead of brushes. Thanks
Too bad the newer Jackal's rails are likely to wind up not being straight, and too bad it's impossible to buy any replacement parts from Barnett, and too bad Barnett's customer service people have no interest in any customer's complaints…

Just a little tip, when using a rope cocker, put the hooks right up against the rail and then it pulls back with equal force on both sides. Sometimes when it is not equal, it can have an effect on how your bolt flies.
Just bought 2 for $50.00 each new in the box @Walmart on Clearance.. Both are missing the slide so i'm not able to test it will be calling Barnett in the morning,
mine didn't come with a quiver mount or a quiver. only 2 arrows and no cocking rope. and my cable slide doesn't have the string groves
Is this bow still holding up good just bought mine today for white tail

How do i get the trident nocks that come on headhunter arrows with jackel kit.
Would this be a good first choice for someone who is new to but also interested in crossbows? If im going to spend money on a crossbow im going to want it to be worth it haha. I was also looking at the recruiter also by barnett

They must have sent me the wrong quiver with mine there is no way it bolts on in any way I can see … the quiver they sent looks nothing like the one on the box it came in

my Barnett Jackel has had defects with the trigger/safety mechanism. I mostly had no problems with it at first hunt. A couple of times even though I had waxed up my rail, used only the head hunter arrows, slid the arrow completely back, my trigger wouldn't lock into safety correctly and safety wouldn't go on when string was pulled up with cording. it would remain in a fire position. at times it would lock in and it would still be in the fire position but, when I fired it the trigger would half to be in fire and switched to safety in order to fire. almost as if my sticker indicating safety and fire had been printed backwards and stuck onto my crossbow correctly and vice versa. a arrow had shot one day with some drag on the trigger then arrow. causing the cross bow to look as damaged as it had been shot dry. I didn't know that I could explain nor even get to the Dicks, Store I purchase it: once I had I told them what was broken. They replaced my string. I expressed that the trigger was screwing up sense day one. as I had stated. so I get my crossbow back. They stated it was fixed. leaving me to believe that they had fixed it. the 2nd week I had my chance to go hunting with another hunter because sense I had purchased the crossbow I have gotten very sick with Emphysema and need a guide with me. we get ready to site it in again, thinking it was fixed and when I cocked back on the string. it stuck drawn back, engaged. Now I have to travel 150 miles with someone I have to hire to drive Again, to fix this dang thing correctly and now the strings have to be totally replaced AGAIN. Does anyone ( hopefully Barnett ) have any suggestions because the crossbow is engaged to fire, still for oh about 4 days around trick a treaters I have to watch for real.
I love this crossbow, I actually just got finished tuning it up for hunting season before I watched this. The safety switch on this rig is only functional when an arrow is loaded. Overall, a very nice and dependable crossbow. just don't forget to turn your scope off.
