My input about this bow is that it is amazingly fast! The speed advertised is actually correct, Butttttt I had issues smacking my arm as well, no matter how I adjusted my grip it would still hit my arm, I’ve shot plenty of bows and this is the first one I’ve had that issue with. My only other issue is that the cams are massive! Axel to Axel is irrelevant when the cams stick out 3 extra inches on each side, the bow is extremely long and I have concerns that the cams sticking out so far will become a problem, the likelihood of damaging them is too high for me. I wanted to love this bow but it just missed the mark when it comes to design.
Really want you to know your videos are appreciated. I am buying two boys for my boys and this realllly helps when you cant shoot the bows yourself. Thanks.
I would definitely own this Alaskan and enjoy it!!!
Hi Steve , just found your channel! I stand in an agreement hope for a speed recovery ! Also vey fair review , i shoot a Matthew’s V3X , but just bought the bear Alaskan, I like bows, way too much, my wife made me sell four of them in 2022…. That knocked me down to just three bows😂😂😂, I have a small thread of land in the southwest United States , but I can shoot out to 250 yards😂😂, but I don’t. Anyways, God speed on your recovery and straight shooting!
One more thing I use q tips on the vanes and cotton balls on the arrow.
When I fletch my arrows , I clean the vane with nail polish remover then isopropyl alcohol, there is a film on the vanes from the manufacturer, I then clean the arrow with isopropyl alcohol as well, it’s a process , BUT! , all the vanes never separate from the arrows.
I have an opportunity to buy a Bear Alaskan or a used Matthews Triax from my local shop. I've watched all your videos on this series and have heard some say that these new budget bows might be better than older flagships. Which one would you recommend? I really appreciate your input.
I'm guessing that Australians make gloves from kangaroo leather? Is it true that it's better at conforming to your bone structure? And how's your ticker feel?
Good to see you take it easy
I am currently bouncing the idea of this bow or the terrain for my fist bow
Glad to see you. Hope you’re doing well.
Hes back! Real man-we need you on that wall! Been thru similar issues ❤️❤️ from USA
I went with the whitetail legend pro and have been very happy with it. Nice little bows.
I'm happy to see that you're back.
Archer to archer and man to man, I hope your surgery went super well and you're recovering even better!
Best guy for bow reviews.
My 1st bow was a Bear whitetail 2.
Had it since 1989 or so.
I still shoot it.
I upgraded 2 a Cruiser G2 last season.
Man , it's night and day difference.
I couldn't be happier.
Thanks for all the reviews and info Steven. It helped me out a lot choosing.
Hope you are well.
Always a good day when Steven uploads a video!
Don't you have stitches or staples in your chest ?
Looking good hope you're feeling well 😊!
