Pete Shelley of PSE does not believe in roller guards because he claims they cause more cam lean than a standard slider.
Nice job bud! Wish someone did this every year ("with the apples to apples comparison") …. Also throw a Martin in there too! Again, great vid.
Hi Sean, Can I ask how tall you are?
It seems that you are suited to longer than average draw length.
Also, I noticed that your trigger pull was very sudden.. slap like (for lack of a better term). I am a novice archer and am wondering if you have advice on trigger release. I understand that this video isn't about accuracy testing, but it looks like you are comfortable slapping your release.
Thanks, and great video.
sean is great but the trigger punching drives me nuts
Hi Sean , what bow do you personally shoot?
Good review. This is the kind of honest real world comparisons that hold water with me. It's hard to buy a celebrity hunters opinion on equipment when you know they are getting paid to shoot X brand.
Great review. Honest and unbiased. But you dont look like a hunter. lol No offense, you just look more like a coffee shop/laptop kind of guy.
the no cam is soo damn accurate. not to crazy about the ATA length. i like compact
Hi Sean,
after lots of years being off from bows I decided to start with it again. Meanwhile and fortunately youtube appeared and I found your tube. Like it and your tipps very much. But I let my old Hoyt FPS Plus at the wall. To be honest … I can't draw it (75-90lbs) any longer. It's a bit of a monster. I think for the start I'll try it with a versitale bow like the Diamond Core and switch to a more expensive in the future.
Would it be possible for you also to make a review of a couple of mid priced bows?
Best regards from Germany
I have a Hoyt Nitrum 30 at 70lbs and it is really hard to pull compared to the faktor 30 and carbon matrix at 70lbs does anyone else have this problem
Are u a real human?
Saige Jenks the answer is no, and no. First of all, when shooting a compound bow with a mechanical release, the cock feather is up because of the way the arrow rests are designed. You mainly only face the cock feather left if you are shooting with fingers and the rest comes from the side of the arrow as opposed to from below it. As for your fingers of the hand the holds the bow, you are not supposed to point your fingers toward the target, because it takes muscles to do that, and you want your hand relaxed. In addition, if you plan to hunt, you could seriously injure your hand with a broadhead if your fingers are sticking out and get in the way of the blades.
Aren't the cock feathers supposed to face left (if you're right-handed) and the grip relaxed, with the fingers pointing towards your target? I am confused.
Nice video.i have a question, have you shooted PSE Full Throttle? any ideea about it?
Thx, looking forward to next episode. Any Bear archery reviews too ?
BOOM BOOM BOOM Haha Thanks for this video Sean, this was just the kind of thing I was looking for!
Like ur review just bought a carbon spyder at turbo from Lancaster there staff is top notch I also got to shoot the mathues monster wake 81.5 lbs anyway looking forward to more of ur reviews like the fact u shoot a variety of diff bows
This was a great comparison. Really appreciate your hard work. Keep them coming. I like your honest feedback and opinions
Great Review. One thing I'd like to see is chronograph with IBO arrow and a heavier hunting arrow with each bow. So we can see real world results and efficiency for hunters and Target shooters. Still shooting my old Mathews Switchback XT until I'm convinced there's something smoother, more accurate and forgiving! Bad shoulders need a smooth draw!
Should have tried the Prime Rival to compare apples to apples, with appropriate length. Not knowledgeable enough about that brand, unfortunately. The PCXL cam system is one of the strong points on Prime bows…
