i shot the vtm the rx 7 and the phase 4 (the v3's 2023 next release) for like 5 hours before i settled on the phase 4. you guys are right the hoyts draw cycles are smoother. But I absolutely loved how the arrow left off the phase 4 everything just clicks really well with the mathews tech the moment you release the arrow. ultimately you cant go wrong with any flagship bow its just a matter of how you feel shooting the particular model in your hands. I chose mathews for my main hunting bow for at least the next few years. in 3 or so ill re examine the industry and if nothings really changed in technology thats ground breaking ill just restring my phase 4 and keep shooting it. The guys at my pro shop said it best. You dont choose your bow usually the bow will choose you.
Hoyt rx7 hands down
That’s my local shop! Great guys, Joey always takes care of me
I think the Hoyt looks better but the way the Mathews looks at full draw 👀 I’ll stick with Hoyt lol
RX seems like u dont like Mathew .
Let’s do a comparison video with weight being a price factor, but let’s use a crappy scale we can’t trust
This flagship sales B S. Is just that. They are almost identical except for price difference which is huge. Hoyt has had manufacturing hitches. I personally experienced this. Got no help with the problem I had. Went to Mathews and had NO problems. None. Just my experience.
I’m a Hoyt guy, so my opinion wouldn’t be impartial. Started my bow experience with the Rx-4 then bought the Ventum and now own the Rx-7…. Need to stop! 😂 LOVE THEM ALL
I don't buy a new bow every year, or even every few years. I bought my Hoyt Carbon Element RKT in 2012. I still love it, taken a lot of game with it, and still get a lot of comments at the 3D tournaments. It cost $1200 back in 2012, but it has been a joy for 10 years, so in my situation I would spend the extra money as I feel it amortizes the cost over the years of enjoyment. Also, it looks like it belongs in the timber where the Mathews looks like it belongs patching the latticework under my granddad's old porch.
Pick the Quietest one..
Only you can make the decision , good luck
This guy straight talks out his ass he has no idea what he’s talking about.
Get a reliable bow scale. Seriously, when you start a comparison video with " well I don't know if it is a viable scale" you lost me. In addition, shooting one bow several times and then shooting the next only one or two because you are tired or sore isn't fair. We want a reliable side by side.
You forgot ad Hoyt torrex xt for the price and performance beats them all !
glad the shop owner mentioned draw weight, I am no expert, I have only been at this about 3 years but holly hell judging from what I see lots and lots of people are pulling more than they should…. wild form, crazy yanking draws that look like a power lifter, lots of the shaky sky draws, and can only practice for about 20-30 arrows. *thats on flat ground, nice weather, or indoors… imagine the issue is magnified in the stand and cold. Out of these bows Id just get the one the grip felt best, but carbon is appealing to me. Off topic but I am excited about light weight carbon bows BUT for target, you want a heavy bow for target so once set up it would weigh the same as my current target rig but more weight on the ends of the stabilizers where its working for me vs just hanging weight.
Fools holding the v3x with the stand on it. What a joke
Wait till next year then buy the RX7. They won’t change it.
Bro said it feels heavier with limb legs on😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Matthew’s bow looks better..
I tend to favor rating bows by draw, let off, and wall probably more than I should. If I saved the $600 on the Matthews, I would probably regret that somewhat later down the road drawing that bow on quite a lot during a day on targets. Yes, I know lift some weights.
